Formula 1 Rules 2010 BodyFormula 1 cars only. All cars must have a driver securely fixed, and consisting of a minimum of head, shoulders, arms and top segment of the steering wheel joining the hands. None of these items may be just painted on. The section of extra bodywork either side of the nosecone to cover the chassis shall be painted or marked in black or gray. Cars must carry a clearly legible racing number in at least one APPROPRIATE place
ChassisChassis must be either scratch built or a commercially available chassis originally designd to take a C can or JK falcon motor. The current chassis that are eligible are the Mack Falcon F1, The JK Falcon Fi, the SCD Falcon F1 and the SCD C can F1. Complex chassis originally designed for Strap motors are specifically excluded from eligibility. Chassis Front EndFront Wheels must touch and roll on the track. Front tyres must be black.
MotorMotors will be JK Falcon as used in 1/32nd Production. Motor Shafts may be shortened.

1/32 Production Rules
BodyMust be Sports/GT type. All cars must have transparent windscreens and windows as found on the prototype. All cars must have a driver securely fixed, and consisting of a minimum of head, shoulders, arms and top segment of the steering wheel joining the hands. None of these items may be just painted on. Cars must carry clearly legible racing numbers in at least two APPROPRIATE places. No part of the motor, chassis, gears or tyres shall be visible when viewed from above or through windows.
Chassis.Any chassis that is currently permitted for use in BSCRA 1/32nd production may be used. The current list of allowed chassis comprises: 'Eurotoy II', Parma International 32, GM Demon, TWP "Euro toy" CMG Bulldog or JK 2 Piece. In addition the JK laser cut chassis (both versions) may be used provided they are used with a Falcon Motor. All other chassis may be used with any permitted motor.
Chassis rear endOnly solid bush axle bearings may be used in this class, no ball races are allowed. Rear axle bearings may be soldered in place. Rear end of chassis may be strengthened with a single piece of piano wire not exceeding 16swg.
MotorsPermitted motors are Mura Wasp, Super Wasp, Proslot Wasp, Viper/RJR Hornet and JK Falcon. Falcon motors must be completely unmodified. Other motors may have magnets shimmed or honed. Brushes may be replaced and shunted. Major components (Armature, Magnets, can and endbell) may only be from a single manufacturer. No mixing of manufacturers components is allowed. C can motor can end bearing may be a ball race.

1/32nd Saloon Rules 2010
BodyThe rear bodywork of Saloon bodies , as fitted to the prototype, must not be omitted. The lower edge of the rear bodywork must not be more than 10 mm above the track across its full width. Cars must have a suitable interior and must carry clearly legible racing numbers in at least two APPROPRIATE places. No part of the motor, chassis, gears or tyres shall be visible when viewed from above or through the windscreen or windows.
ChassisThere is no restriction on the type of drive or chassis that may be use
MotorMotor must be Group 12 with single magnets, 0.513 armature, ballrace at can end only and brushes may be shunted. Magnets may be shimmed, honed and notched for axle clearance.

1/24th Production Rules Summer Championship 2010
BodyBodies must be of a 1981 or earlier Can Am car. The bodies must be a reasonable representation of the real car, i.e. no high down force bodies. The body must be fitted with a suitable interior and 3 dimensional driver and have at least 2 racing numbers in appropriate places. It is desirable that there are a variety of bodies used in this class. As a consequence of this, if one particular body becomes dominant, its use will be reviewed by the committee.
ChassisCars may use any 1/24th production chassis homologated for BSCRA racing. With the Parma Flexi 1 or Flexi 2 chassis, a hot wing may be fitted. No aluminium pans may be fitted to any car. No modifications except that pin tubes may be fitted and the rear and gear may be strengthened with piano wire not exceeding 16swg. EDM cut strengthening brackets may also be used as these make car construction simpler and are often supplied with chassis.
Chassis Front EndHot wing may be soldered in place as this strengthens the chassis. Aluminium and rubber/plastic front wheels at least ½ diameter of any make on 16g piano wire axle. Chassis Rear EndAxles free choice. Gears free choice of material, pitch and ratio. The gear should not protrude below the chassis. Rear axle bearings must be solid bush bearings. No ballraces. Rear Bearings may be soldered in position. Tyres Free choice. Max 21mm width. MotorMotor must be a JK Falcon. No modifications are allowed. Motors may be soldered in place and braced with a single piece of piano wire not exceeding 16swg. Overall Width83mm maximum.

BodyBodies must be of Le Mans prototype from 1972 or before, no high down force bodies. All bodies must have a suitable interior and at least 2 racing numbers. Bodies should be painted in a scale or prototypical colour scheme.(No 2 tone fades). Bodies can be from any manufacturer, but must be of reasonable scale appearance. The final decision regarding the eligibility of any body will made by the committee. ChassisCars may use any 1/24th production chassis homologated for BSCRA racing. With the Parma Flexi 1 or Flexi 2 chassis, a hot wing may be fitted. No aluminium pans may be fitted to any car. LightsAll cars must have lighting units fitted . The lighting units are a free choice, but must consist of a minimum of 2 white headlights and 2 red tail lights. It is recommended that the lights remain on after the car de-slots as this will help the marshals. During the sections run in the dark, at least 2 headlights and 1 tail light must be working. Any car not complying with this requirement must be repaired in race time. When the house lights are switched on, there is no requirement for any lights to be in working order. Lights may not be removed after the night section but do not need to be repaired if they no longer function Chassis Front EndHot wing may be soldered in place as this strengthens the chassis. Motor must be Group 12 with single magnets, 0.513 armature, ballrace at can end only and brushes may be shunted. In other words, the motor must be eligible for BSCRA 1/32nd Saloon. No Open Group 12 motors are allowed. Magnets may be shimmed, honed and notched for axle clearance. Motor components from different manufacturers may be mixed.
